Thanks for taking the time to read more about The American Red Cross! We want to outline the structure of the ARC and how this impacts training across the globe. The American Red Cross is big in the CPR + AED industry with training services as well as disaster relief. We get a lot of calls from people that say, "I was on the Red Cross website looking for a class. And when I clicked on the class I wanted to take it redirected me to you. What is that all about?" This is what we call a licensed training provider with the American Red Cross. In other words, we're providers with the Red Cross and licensed to train using their program materials and curriculum; this is what our company does.

So what we do is we licence the materials from Red Cross to use the software, the curriculum, and teach to the standards that are set by the Red Cross, but we are an independently privately held company, which is called a licensed training provider. So, with that said, we can run classes, whether it be for the workplaces, special corporate events, or we can do what we call Open Enrollment courses (that's what you're going to see posted on the Red Cross website when you search for a class). Companies like Ready Response post our classes that we're teaching to the Red Cross website. It will then redirect you to our website; you can then sign up for the training and run through the curriculum as designed, whether it's a blended course or full in-person course.

But essentially we're licensed to use the materials and use the digital certificates and course completion records through the Red Cross; however, we are privately held companies. We don't work for the Red Cross or really on behalf of them; we're providers through them. That's what a licensed training provider is, and when you find a class local to you in the Red Cross system in the search, it's probably going to pull up a company like us right. All of the curriculum that we teach including the videos, course presentation,, all the things that we show in our classes are generated through Red Cross, and we're licensed to use them.
